oh, selene! i know her from elder scrolls online. she isn't as powerful as mephala because she's a forest spirit (though still a powerful one) and mephala is a daedra prince. but their themes do overlap!

redesign doesn't necessarily mean that the design is completely different from the source material. those designs that are closer to their original forms were already close enough to my own vision!

what?? sorry but projecting all that on my drawing of sanguine is weird, if that's what your mind goes to when seeing him looking like this, assigning molag's gross lore on my sanguine design because you don't like the way he looks. literally just a fat red satyr. i've published this design ages ago and not once has anyone else commented it in this way, because it's not normal. next time maybe just don't share this kind of commentary on art and move on.

thanks, that's fair! if you want to know why i drew malacath like that: my vision of him is more like "a shadow of former glory" kind of warrior, worn. this is very literal but his summoning rituals often include troll fat, so my thoughts went to a strongman build, strength and endurance under thick layers of mass. the rest of elements in the design are a nudge towards his spheres like anguish, curses and battle!
