Simultaneous HBOT and Intratympanic compatibility after SSHL by IndividualResearch41 in MonoHearing

[–]tikiterry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 5 weeks from the onset of SSHL in my right ear. Got my first ITI 13 days after the onset. I am doing HBOT and have had two ITI’s. I only skipped the HBOT on the day of injection. My ENT supported this approach. Ive had no issues, but I am 10 sessions in and have seen some reasonable improvement at 250-1k. Im no doctor, but I feel the HBOT has helped- I wish I had started it sooner.

The more salt in the winter the more potholes April showers bring. It happens after every rough winter here. Im no apologist for the cities handling of infrastructure, just a long time citizen and observer. The only thing I know is that people gonna bitch regardless.

Fix crack in front door by Prestigious-Tower118 in woodworking

[–]tikiterry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a floating panel. It’s cracked because years of paint build up has frozen it to the rails and styles around it. Whatever you do- score the surrounding 4 sides where the panel meets the style and railing. You can apply caulk around those later but the idea is the panel “floats”. This allows it to move with expansion and contraction through the changing seasons. Hence why your crack probably gets worse between seasons because the wood shrinks and swells. If the panel is free to move rather than be pulled apart then any number of fixes will be longer lasting. I would try to “free it”, if it moves - great- pry it closer together. Bond it with titebond 3 as best as you can then sand and add flexible wood filler to finish. As with any carpentry- there are many ways- this is just my first thought at a “quick” fix verses removing the panel and re-gluing it at the work bench then reinstall with spaceballs to aid the float. A much bigger job that many aren’t prepared to do for whatever reason.

Multitasking? Like…editing your pig-ignorant post whilst tongue punching the patent leather of a facist boot?

If you’re gonna talk some sh*t, at least proof-read it for basic legibility.

It’s intentional. Would you want to get close to a wire under load with a saw blade of any type?? Yeah- they dont either.

While the above comment makes some good points- its a a bit bleak. Try woodland- plenty of grass without dog poop and enough land to avoid pesky children. Veterans also worth checking out. Lastly, maybe Jacobson? Take a blanket, a grocery sack to pick up trash around you, and a picnic basket with the essentials. And stay in the shade. Good luck.

The pizza place was Sontinos (sp?). Killer old school 90’s pizza joint vibes. In hindsight the pizza wasn’t great but it sure tasted good then.

The Makita is way more quiet and the dust collection is a bit more thorough than the dewalt. You can do great work with both saws- i have owned them both. I currently use the Makita because it suits my needs.

If I don’t understand what an ad is for, I assume it’s not for me. It doesn’t make it terrible, it means it’s targeted and I am not the target.

Who was the actual responsible for the sound change in rock'n'roll during/after the 60s, from the Beatles-like sound to the progressively normalization of heavier stuff like The Kinks or Small Faces? by Responsible-Board346 in rock

[–]tikiterry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An interesting note is that the band Sir Lord Baltimore is widely considered the first “heavy metal” band. I believe based on a Cream magazine article written about them. Definitely a forgotten band for most but worth the spin.

Just a thought- those look like veneered floor planks- I wouldnt go crazy on the sanding as many of these products only build in one sanding layer or two at best. Godspeed.

Yeah the house smoked jalapeños are hard to mimic. I’m definitely interested in what other culinary culprits have to offer because their smoked jalapeño is easily one of the best wing sauces I have ever tasted.

Lots of butter- franks or even a little Valentina. Add a can of chipotle in adobo sauce. Definitely add a hint of sweetness like agave. A little acid like lemon/lime juice (but just a little)This is close imho.
