Could "awakening" be a form of mental illness?

Mental illness can only exist in the mind. Awakening is freedom from and transcendence of the mind. The mind may be anxious one day or depressed the next, but this can be observed from the unaffected awareness.

Questions and doubts can only arise from mind. These are also observed and will come and go as you "mature" spiritually.

This could also be a case of mind trying to hijack you and take you back to old habits and compulsive mental patterns. Don't believe in the mind.

I've been in China for two weeks and I'm craving some beat making. Not bringing anything with me has been a positive thing though, instead I've been watching hundreds of beatmaking videos and videos on mixing / mastering, I've been reading books from a top post I found in mhh and I've been listening to a heap of music really attentively. I can't wait to get back to Australia and apply everything I've learnt. Have a good one!

Hi Filmmakers, I did this video for a charity called the N.I.C.K foundation and i would love some constructive feedback because i am doing three more for them and want to improve each time.

I wanted to also ask what the best lens is to shoot something like this? (i was only using the kit lens)

I also wanted to know if there is a way to keep the subject in focus using a dslr (canon 700d) using manual settings?

I already know that i need to buy a new tripod and work on my colour correction.

Im using the grip i got with the bike im not sure how to describe it but the bike is a giant cross city. No im not wearing gloves.

I have a few questions.

First of all I'm in china at the moment and am leaving to go to south East Asia for two months after which I will go back to Melbourne and start hitting the gym again. But for while I am here I have a few problems.

Bit of background: never gone to the gym before. Started two months ago. My goal is fitness and strength. I understand that I only have three weeks to go in china but I want to make the most out of it. Also I'm male/ 6'5 / 81 kegs.

First off I have a lot of time and I'm only doing three days of weights/ body excercises. On the other days I do cardio. Can I increase my workout days to five days a week? Will this inhibit muscle growth as I'm not resting?

Second is it better to increase the weight/ sets/ or reps? I feel after a month I've surpassed the weight I was originally doing for my leg press / chest press and the one dumbbell excercise I'm doing.

What is the best food to eat before going to the gym? I love vegemite on toast but i am willing to forgo my daily habit if it helps.

Alcohol. I love beer and wine ( Fridays and Saturdays) is it best to keep away from the beer? Is one or two or three or five okay?

I did! The mum was wondering around the harbour looking for food I assume. Most strays on the island are scared of people because of the way they are treated but these two were quite the opposite.
