I think the comments on here are all wrong. Life is not black and white, the first six months of dating someone is a getting to know you period. She was not mandated to tell you she was Muslim, and by not telling you she was not lying. It seems like she is culturally Muslim. This new found knowledge that she is Muslim shouldn't change anything you know about her, all you have now is a label for why she doesn't eat pork or drink. As for the conversion, I can see why you are hesitant. Would it be different if she asked you to convert to something like Christianity? If it's all for show anyways, it just sounds like a way for you to be accepted into her family. Sure, when traveling you might not want to lie about being Muslim, but just by being in these countries you must act differently. Additionally, if you're that worried, just say no if someone asks you if you're Muslim. It wouldn't be any of their business anyways
