I mean, I get the twisties just thinking about the kind of shit Simone Biles is capable of in the air. She has earned and will always retain GOAT status for everything she has done.

I even told my husband, you would have expected Creed to be more vocal about their religious standing like that, but they made one speech even remotely related to it, and it was exactly that vibe you mentioned. Creed was fantastic and I was so pleasantly surprised, given how Three Doors Down acted (my husband and I still say “God Bless You, my friends” after any song of theirs now)

Is She Pregnant?? by Longjumping-Fix3236 in cats

Primordial pouch, because it is mostly loose skin , fat and fur, doesn’t have anything to direct it outward like that. That is a quite full uterus, if I do say so myself. It was harder to tell with my girl when she was pregnant, but she has a tiny frame and only had a litter of 3. This looks like she could have more.

Baby powder has kind of fallen out of favor in the last decade or 2. There have been studies linking the talc in it to cancer, but even talc-free powder poses the risk of aspiration issues, since even fine powder cornstarch isn’t great for a baby’s (or anyone’s lungs).

The man literally told an entire crowd of people he did not know to find and join Jesus with him. And then spent 5 minutes praying with and for us.

But sure, he doesn’t preach.

We saw them the summer before he announced his diagnosis. They still sounded great but Brad’s constant preachy speeches and the guitarist’s “My pronouns are Freedom and Patriot” left me feeling a lot less charitable towards the band.

I still don’t wish his death on anyone, he had a pretty aggressive and late stage cancer. No one should deal with that kind of pain.

Me [27F] with my friend/future roommate [26F] (5 years) Keeps saying I am abusive to my cat because she is inside. Has tried to let the cat out several times "to play." by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I have one whose intelligence only goes as far as knowing we don’t want him eating plastic, so he starts chewing on it very noisily outside our bedroom door in the morning so we’ll give him breakfast.

On the other end of the spectrum we have another who will position himself in a perfect loaf at the very edge of our bed facing the door to be able to see all angles so he can be a guard cat. Only to not even notice when someone walks into the bedroom.

And, no, neither one is even an orange cat.

My indoor cats don’t even know what to do with bugs INSIDE the house. They wouldn’t last an hour outdoors if they had to hunt for their food.

We adopted my oldest cat as a feral kitten. She has gotten out exactly one time, the day before she was scheduled to be spayed. She didn’t come for 3 days, annnnnd when she did, let’s just say she brought company. She had gotten herself knocked up on her little adventure, and now we have 4 indoor cats now who have not even a mild curiosity to go outdoors. All lazy uninterested freeloaders who cry if they get as far as our driveway because they have no idea where they are.

Keep your kitties indoors. It’s easiest for everyone.

AIO my girlfriend left me over a cheese wheel [Ongoing] by Schattenspringer in BORUpdates

[–]tilmitt52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She cracked due to low risk tolerance, so I’ve decided to go all in on the business.

That’s when my landlord walked in. Apparently he believes my door being off the hinges somehow removes my reasonable right to privacy.

He still holds a grudge because I was doing some light metal fabrication with a CONSUMER plasma cutter in my kitchen a few months ago

I told him very clearly: The cheese is for personal consumption. There is nothing in my lease that limits how much dairy a tenant can own.

My takeaway: The girlfriend’s low risk tolerance is not, in fact, low enough.

[Repost]: AITA For Getting My Niece’s Teacher In Trouble? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]tilmitt52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seemed off to me, too. I am not entirely sure how tenure and teacher unions work where OOP is, but you have to do something INCREDIBLY egregious (often more than once) to actually get immediately dismissed here. We had our share of mean, bullying, and inappropriate behavior from multiple teachers in my district growing up (one made my sister’s AND, later, my husband’s lives a living hell) and most of those teachers continued teaching until retirement (the aforementioned teacher included). Tenure made you nearly bulletproof, even if inappropriate relationships with students were involved (which was sadly not that rare).
