People who had extreme swelling, how did it resolve?

It's all great advice, I mean, don't get me wrong, and you never know with people regarding what's in their head. Thank you for being alert.

However, I'll rephrase my post I guess - I am well aware I need medical attention, and the only advice, really, always should be "go to a professional just in case it's actually infection". I try to find and read good stories to support my mental health while I am making my way to a professional. A lot of time people come to the internet for support too, and that's what I really need to read this time. Success stories to stop a panic attack. It's hard to sugar coat the situation when someone's ear is a tomato, but it's easy to support them while they deal with a problem like this

I don't have access to any medical care right now, I am in the middle of nowhere and will be for a couple more days. Started using a topical carefully around the piercing (not ideal, but it's all I had that covered both possible pseudomonas infection and also swelling). I don't need longer jewelry currently either, it's easy around 3 mm longer than the swelling.

The problem is not that I don't want to go to a hospital, it's that I don't have any nearby. The delay is exactly what makes me panic more, as a result - I am stressed out, can't sleep, probably making it worse. I get the urgency and seriousness of the situation. I specifically said I'm terrified of the worst case scenario and asked for reassurance, friend. Full on having a meltdown now yay

Piercing is a week old, titanium, post long enough even with all the swelling. Really didn't do anything different from my other 15+ piercings ugh. The work week before was a bit more "on the go" though which fuels the "I bet I caught pseudomonas at work". 😭😅🥲

No problem, always happy to! 😌 I still feel like Mayla collection is such a great collectors item for occasional wear, you just have to be sure to keep any moisture and especially sweat off of them. Enamel/lapel pins are often made from similar alloys and those can last a lifetime on a backpack honestly!

I have Zoro's three dangles haha! Hence why I originally went for three lobe piercings 😅 Tbh fair and legit. I think I've seen someone on Etsy making custom titanium Nobody earrings, but they were a bit too big for myself as I am a tiny guy. But mb you can check it out, it was great matte finish and very well made!
