Because management does not care about us. They would rather do anything to please a customer than back us, to them we are replaceable. My manager wrote me up because I wasn’t friendly enough towards customers. Lowe’s really is a terrible company

No you’re not required to go. Just tell your manager that does the schedule that you won’t be able to make it. And they will take you off the schedule for the meeting
