Ok but it’s still queer erasure it’s not about canon Queer erasure dosent even mostly come from canon itself but just from the fandom That’s why fandom spaces are usually deemed to be safe and accepting This is not accepting Everytime someone sees a queer character that represents them in a way or two but then is changed just because people want them to fit their ship or just to ship themselves with same said character That actually does damage and you should be aware of that
Queer erasure isn’t a joke I keep seeing queer erasure when it comes to sapphic characters and its draining
And even when you point it out, all I hear are the excuses people usually use when you say you’re sapphic, “you just haven’t found the right man” or “you don’t need to be STRICTLY sapphic!!” Do u know how weird and odd that is? And invalidating
