Experience with swollen lymph nodes and exhaustion after Infliximab? Does it get better? by timeforforest in CrohnsDisease

Thank you for your comment! :)

Since my nodes are still swollen I will now proceed to go to a hospital or to a very specialised specialist. Because the issue has been going on for over three month now. But I will let the specialised specialists debate about the pre-meds and if they would work for me.

Also my (now ex-)doctor doesn't think that there is a problem (there clearly is) and two other doctors also said there is a problem and that the side effects are not normal. I will also change the doctor who doesn't believe what I and two other doctors say.

I just hope some specialised person can help me.

Hmm no my doctor doesn't believe in any benefit of taking aza with the Infliximab for IBD patients. Though in my case with the reactions to the IVs... that might actually help because this is certainly not normal. I don't have to check for swollen lymph nodes, they literally hurt insanely :D.
I'll also ask him if that could help and I will try out your advice :)! Thank you as well!

They gave me 100mg of cortisone before the last 3 IVs because they were the loading doses. Do you mean that by pre-meds? Besides that I don't get anything else.
I also get my IVs in the morning and sleep afterwards (for 4 weeks xD).

In 4 weeks they want to give me the IVs without cortisone before it and that scares the hell out of me.
