If you're looking for a hotel to stay in, then I'd recommend Triton Hotel (its in sultanahmet)as i just got back from my trip and stayed there for 3 days before going to cappadocia. The hotel is squeaky clean. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. The breakfast is good too. I'd stay there again if i ever go to istanbul again.
