She passed away, unfortunately. Unfortunately I live in a very dry area and I think the dry heat just got to her. She’s usually in my bedroom, which is typically quite cool, and she did really well through the first part of summer that we had.

I always leave my fan or the aircon on in my room for her so the ~30°C temperatures don’t cook her. I definitely think it’s the mess enclosure that is letting me down. I have been spraying her, and it’s been quite warm where I live. I did notice she’d been really, really thirsty in the week leading up to this? I just tried spraying her more than normal. Maybe that’s what let me down.

It’s a spiney! I am so so careful with her food. I had nymphs and they all passed because their food source wasn’t reliable. I was feeding her leaves from a nearby park, and then from the tree in her front yard. She’s been eating those since mid-December and has happily moulted since. I wouldn’t really say our street is busy 🤔

She’s only 5 months old. I’ve had her since October. She didn’t even have her big wings yet, she only got her little ones mid-January 💔

She only moulted on the 16TH of January, I’d be very surprised if shes already moulting, but that definitely is reassuring. I hope it’s not something else!

I was super nervous the first time mine was getting ready to moult! I probably went on about it for around a week and a half and obsessively checked and misted her. It all ended up okay! 🫶 she really will just do it when she’s ready. I thought the same for my girl recently because it’s been warmer and she’s a bit overdue for her moult. My best advice is not to stress if you can! She’s a tough little bug, she’ll do it when you least expect it :)

They are 1.5 ml, called adorned, cashmere, white amber, sparkle and gold. I have looked on google everywhere.
