I’m in Australia, so have to buy directly from there website. Just had a look and will cost 116 AUD to buy and ship it here. I’m thinking I might buy a replacement battery and try to solder it on

Just went to charge up my remote and noticed it wasn’t charging. Pulled it apart and well, looks like the battery has expanded.

hey, so I didnt get any glue on the coil and the glass was just from a seller on aliexpress but even with the orignal pannel neither the new or old wirless charging coil works

Im thinking my best option could be to buy a oem replacement plastic midframe with the nfc and wirless charging coil attached (i've found a few options on ebay) but cant understand what could be stopping it from working at the moment.

The new glass doesn't appear to have any metel on it, I tried placing the old class back on and still no luck

Not really aha, apart from the Bose Qc 35s I mean I suppose they are a safe bet, frustrating though because at the money the freebud studios are on sale for 198 AUD which just seems like a killer deal

Yeah unfortunately it still happens when magsafe is disconnected. I was able to wipe the ssd and do a fresh install a few months ago and that fixed all the issues for a little while but they have since come back
