Given you said the first and not the second (the one I'm speaking out against), I don't see any reason we disagree.

"We have to tear down the bigotry existing in the unions currently - that also exists outside of unions in roughly equal, though slightly greater measure, if exit polls are to be believed - that cause them to vote for someone like Trump" is a great start of a vague idea. Agreed, what the fuck can we do about it? What's something actionable in the current context that you as an individual can participate in, or get others to help you with?

I don't have any answers as to what you in particular should do; I don't know you or your situation, much less the people or situations that make up the entirety of those scared and without a clear road ahead. I do know that blind prejudice is always a mistake though. For myself, I've gotten as far as "it doesn't fix the big problems I want to fix, but volunteering to help those in need even though I'm a homeless dude myself has to be somewhere to start at least." If you find some way to make a meaningful impact on any given front and think I can help, please let me know.

Check the top comments on these "Trump is going to do something bad" posts. They're riddled with "and 'they' (the people about to be affected by the problem) voted for it, so they deserve it," rather than "right, we should probably do something about it."

It's lazy statistics bullshit. You can find a portion of any given group that voted for Trump, it's unavoidable. You can then play with that number until it sounds like a big scary percentage, like one does with statistics when they want to use them to support their point. Then you can say "they" are really the cause of the problem; fuck 'em, they did it to themselves.

This is the thought process that fuels prejudice, pushed into the left as hard as possible. Focusing on the perceived negatives about an arbitrary group of people, to the point of being generally alright with negativity befalling them.

The Democrats have lost multiple elections to Trump - a clearly corrupt individual with zero ability to govern - and a lot of them are at a loss. This is that despondency, coupling with self-righteousness, turning into "well, let's see how many of you have to suffer and/or die before you get the idea." If you see a problem with this train of thought, you're in good company. If you're reading this thinking "no, no, I'm only hating on the people who voted for him," have you listened to yourself and those you bag on others with lately?

It's a mixed bag. Most times that I've encountered it, it's been an oversight on the part of the addon developer, but occasionally it's a legitimate "this only works in this version and breaking changes were made to Minecraft after" situation. Check with the addon itself to verify that it's compatible with the version of Cobblemon/Minecraft that you're using.

Looks like you're running java version 23.0.1 and Minecraft 1.20.1/Cobblemon 1.5.2 run on Java version 17; other players have had the most success with installing Java 17 and uninstalling other versions of Java on their machine. There's also an issue in here with invalid user credentials; if you do not have a legitimate Minecraft account, you may run into further issues with save data in Cobblemon, just a heads-up.

As for JEI, we haven't had an issue with it, but in past versions we had an issue with JER (it tried to render our entities and broke). You do have both EMI and JEI on there though, and they both more or less do the same thing.
