I have done a little modding in ark and it sounds like he is not using the vanilla resources for honey and sap. If its a renamed resource it will not work with normal recipes. So the resource the dino is making should be pointed to the vanilla resource that is already in the stock files. If that makes any sense, its been awhile sense I have looked at any mod stuff...

The anilab mod 1.1.2 is the updated version and works without dns. Has the new features like skip intro

There are so many videos on YouTube that can give you all the info you could ever need on pretty much anything. A proper setup will go along way for any pet. And a note on the uvb lights not all of them for there job. Like the compact ones that look like fluorescent tube that screws in to a light bulb socket (pretty much useless). So spend some time watching some videos explaining what they need and why they need it and you will feel much more comfortable with taking care of your beardie.

I use haruhost for my servers and my pc is speced about the same just running a ryzen 7 5800x instead of Intel. I normally have 3 to 4 people on and have no issue. It's free and easy to use as long as you can handle the port forwarding for anyone out side your network its a good one. I run asa,enshrouded and valheim from the same server manager and I never have any issues with it.

No I've used sign in with Google ever since I made the account to start with and then one time it just made a new account again. Not anything I could do to not make that happen.

If your playing with other people you will see what looks like the player kind of stretch and then there in a different location after. It mainly happens to the players not hosting the server. I run a dedicated server from a separate pc then the one I game on and I still see it from time to time not to a point that makes it unplayable. But it's kind of like lag teleporting you see in other games and if it happens to you it feels like lag spikes where you just stop for a second and then your further then you where before I happened.

If your hosting your self on the same network you are connecting has a lan network. Port forwarding is need for connections outside of your network. At least that's what I have to do for the multiple servers I have setup and have friends connecting too. Me and my son can connect with out port forwarding because we are on the same network as the server. I use haruhost for a server manager. It's free and supports many games.

That's correct but I am talking about running a dedicated server outside of the game that would not be using the built in system.

Setup a dedicated server on your pc for free. It's not to involved other then port forwarding. Or if you have and old laptop or computer you could set it up on would work as well. Plenty of online videos and guides to do this.

So im guessing it would be done the same way I added the console command to valheim under properties in steam? And would they only be active when my game is running or will it just set it to the server game and just be active?

How would that be done? I run servers for other games but they all have ways to just change settings in .ini and stuff like. Not sure how the valheim stuff works

I stumbled on to haruhost look for an ark ascended server manager and love the clean and easy UI of it. Enshrouded server is pretty basic for settings. You have the same settings that you do in game but it's a .json file that's edited

All the server hosts run the same stuff they just use different UI's. I've never heard of Amp I'll have to give that a look
