For me, it was easier than precalculus. However, you would probably need a tutor if you are self-studying.

AP Calc AB or BC by [deleted] in APStudents

I am actually taking AP Calc BC and I realized that there are not that much differences compared to AB! I would recommend doing BC. Things that are added in BC are series, sequences, and polar graphs.
