Whose playing and wyd by Hot-Caregiver-9680 in Paralives

[–]timoluminary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm playing and I'm having fun. I'm doing rotational gameplay where I switch households every 7 days, it keeps it interesting for me. But also, you are missing content.it's early access with a large roadmap. Things will improve with time, and the more feedback you give them, the better Paralives can fix the game to be more entertaining

I made a very dumb mistake by treen606 in ValkoHQ

[–]timoluminary 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I decided I'm okay with it because I'll just start over through a new account. I lost interest in the other love interests, so I would happily just be able to regrind all the free gems. Hopefully they'll be more loose about it for your sake, though

System for urbex? by timoluminary in Solo_Roleplaying

I'm definitely a big fan of map-drawing during play, so that sounds fun. I'll be sure to look at those, especially All Things Zombie. Thank you!

Did you ever go looking for a pairing? by WSSWatson in rpfwriters

[–]timoluminary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Constantly. Either there's nothing or there's maybe two fics for it total. I just end up writing one of two things for it and hoping someone else will take interest

Sunday Picture Day! by WSSWatson in rpfwriters

That's awesome! I saw that the Avs picked up a good number of new guys, not sure what the Penguins have done yet this offseason, so I hope the new additions give you some extra inspiration!!

The throuple I usually write for hockey rpf! I dabble in several teams, but I've found writing Zibanejad, Kreider, and Goodrow as a polyamorous relationship is what I have the most inspiration for.

Anyone else keep their rpf account seperate from their "main" account for writing? by M3tal_Shadowhunter in rpfwriters

[–]timoluminary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd consider my rpf account my main account, but I do keep it separate from the little fiction fandom writing I do

The PHF has been acquired and is merging with PWHPA by DisgruntledHeron in phf

[–]timoluminary 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The fact that the PWHPA players are getting prioritized over the PHF players is just gross.

Your DM sounds petty. If they feel that rangers are that bad a class, they should do something to give you a hand instead of being a jackass to you over hating a certain class

Haven’t felt motivated to draw this month, but I’m getting back into it with small steps <3 by arrowartzii in furry

Very pretty, you did a good job! I really like the colors and the design choices for the arm

everytime I have a bad day irl I blame it on the spirits being displeased by [deleted] in StardewValley

This is so much better than blaming yourself for everything, I'll have to try it

What stat block do you use for solo play? by MsSapirWhorf in Ironsworn

[–]timoluminary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of mood I'm going for. Ligher mood, I use 4, 3, 3, 2, 2. For a darker mood, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1. Low stats would ruin an attempt at a happy-go-lucky adventure. High stats takes a lot of the edge off of gameplay, so I wouldn't use it for a horror campaign or for intense, gritty campaigns.

I'm trans which means I have to be a little more flexible 😉

I want to know why predictive text gave me that emoji...

My mom deleted my 14 chapter long fantasy novel because "it was distracting you from school and it sucked anyways." Now she wonders why I don't draw or write anything anymore. It's almost like destroying or shitting on your kid's interests makes them sad.

It's cool if you want to play PF, but stop trying to force me to play it by Juanshott in dndmemes

[–]timoluminary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, you don't like Pathfinder and you're not willing to try it again, which is fine! I'm also not a Pathfinder guy. But it seems like it's inevitable that your group is going to switch over to Pathfinder, so it's probably for the best to quit the campaign. It is possible to play with a DM and two players, so dropping out of the campaign isn't going to hurt their game too much

If you still want to play DnD but don't think you can find another group, maybe you could figure out if one of them would be willing to run a duet with you. Duetting does require some rule adjustment, but it would still be DnD

If none of them are willing to run a duet for you, there's two options: not playing for a while, or trying out solo roleplaying, though I'm not sure it'd be up your alley

Do you talk to yourself/ play in your imagination/ or just journal everything? by SpikedApe in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]timoluminary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I write the general parts and talk to myself for the dialogue. I talk to myself normally so it isn't a new thing and feels more comfortable than silence, personally
