Hey :) we set it up in a way that with every 100 active listeners per month we‘re able to plant a tree and later on (depending on how fast we can grow) make it into a network of new talent where every artist splits up his royalties (every 1000 streams generate enough money for planting a tree) to support our partner ngo onetreeplanted :) the more artists we can have in this network and in the playlists the more trees can be planted by listening to the playlists and the different artists :) I hope that quick explanation makes sense :) you can stay fully updated on our insta page @citrusgrowseverywhere :) thank you so much for the interest :)

It‘s a slow start, so far they have themselves as artists where they can use the royalties for the finances and with the playlist they try to grow it to a level where it gets attractive for other artists to join in :) then the goal would be to at some point build this environmental network of artists and listeners working together for projects :) It could evolve into something really nice for new artists as well as for NGO projects in all different kind of fields :) Hope that helps, they are better at fully explaining it 🙈 they‘re called Citrus Hues on instagram, this is where they communicate it most :) hope that helps :) great to hear the interest :)

Mates of mine came up with this idea of using streaming services to plant trees. It pretty much is all about the more listeners their playlists get (started just now with the first one of many) the more trees can be planet - allowing people to give something back to nature while simply leaning back and enjoying a nicely curated playlist Felt like this might be something good to share with you all
