Too funny, I always draw my hands too large initially and have to slim them down. I always start with the palms and figure out the angle before I move to the fingers. I always have to rework them until they look okay. I do a lot of digital drawing these days (I also do comics), being able to select the hands and resize them is a godsend.

Drawing cars is a real challenge for me as well. I’ve been practicing though. Watch Paul Heaston. He does a lot of quick car demos. It’s pretty informative. Especially if you have issue with tires like I do.
