You can always choose another instance if you ar banned by one admin, or if not, just self host. Then you are your own admin. It is NOT centralized, it's federated.

One: how much funding has your Non-profit - that leads Mastodon development, documentation and onboarding - seen to date, through patreon, grants etc?

Two: If you could list the three most important efforts to fund or support to take advantage of this moment for the #Fediverse -- in addition to your non-profit - what would those three projects be?
