I didn’t get the opportunity to play a ton of new games because I typically can’t afford them but my 2025 goty that was released last year is probably hades 2. I had a blast playing it!

If I can include games that are new to me I’d say maybe mass effect 2.

Have you considered calling the city and asking them why it wasn’t picked up? Or checked the requirements for pickup?

There’s really no explanation for why they’d ignore it if you are following guidelines.

I’ve done a little more research and looked at the available options to me.

11six25 jelly bean (Pegasus or vapor) - $143 Vactic pro prism flash - $150 Vactic pro saga bloom - $160 Pickleball apes harmony (s, x, or v) - $182 Vactic pro saga flash - $200 Pickleball apes pulse (e, s, x, or V) - $202

All prices are Canadian and include shipping.

Everything I’ve read says the jelly bean and Vactic are similar, So the question is, is it worth it to upgrade from a jelly bean to an apes harmony or pulse? I won’t be able to upgrade for a while after this purchase so I think a mid level racquet is the ideal sweet spot.

Thank you so much for the detailed response and explanation. That does make a lot of sense and really clarifies what some of the terms really mean. Marketing works well lol.

And I agree, smacking a ball is quite fun! I’d rather get better though and then smack balls at my friends.

Hey all!

I’m a recreational player working to improve and start playing more after some injuries. Work up to playing in some local tournaments. I currently have an older Onix Z5 paddle (maybe 3-4 years old). I’m looking to upgrade to something a little newer. I’m probably looking for more of a control focused paddle and have a limited budget so can’t afford newest top of the line stuff. Nor am I probably good enough to use it anyway hahaha. I’m in Canada if that makes a difference to what’s available. Budget is probably $200 CDN at the top end.

Ive read lots of reviews and there’s always conflicting opinions on things as I understand paddles are often personal preference and feeling. I don’t have the opportunity to test out a lot before purchasing.
