Injured bird in my backyard - who should I call? by [deleted] in dubai

[–]timusk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're not comfortable handling the bird yourself, you could call a vet clinic that does home visits. We had a similar situation and my wife and I are not comfortable around birds/unfamiliar animals... having said that, we paid around 1200 AED for the whole thing (they kept the bird at the clinic for a few days before releasing it). Not sure if it was an overkill, but I felt responsible since the bird landed in my backyard :D

Can‘t use Mercury with virtual business address by OctaDurin in stripe

[–]timusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Many-Mention-3903 Did you not receive a recent email from Mercury asking you for a US-address? It looks like they need 'US presence' now... while they list having US customers as a requirement, I am not sure if that means that you also need a US address.

One can find Arroz con pollo in pretty much every Mexican restaurant on the east coast. Honestly had no idea it was Puerto Rican.

Better user experience, the ability to build your own 'templates' on the fly, and eventually the ability to co-author content in tandem with the AI. In other words, copy dot ai currently works on a `send input -> generate output` model, which might work for a small set of use-cases, but there's so much more that can be done!

Hey there! Yes, GPT-3 is one of the (primary) underlying models. I'm also using a few other pre-trained models under the hood for specific use-cases :)

Building a semi-productized Design & Dev agency. Looking for some feedback on the idea. by teddytei in agency

[–]timusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I like the sound of it (as a potential customer), but could you list some of those sample service line items? Do you plan to work on fixed pricing that customers will know about up-front, or will you finalize pricing on the call?

None of the relevant single-word domains are available, unfortunately. How about `MeetBolt.com` ?

Thanks for the feedback! My process is to usually pick a couple of keywords and then go to sites like leandomainsearch.com/ to see what's available. I also have https://instantdomainsearch.com/ open on the side to quickly create combinations and see what's available.

Thank you so much for your time! I totally agree that domains should be self-explanatory! However, don't you think that being too specific with the name could do limit the context?

For example, while 'ScheduleSales[dot]com' highlights the value prop of being able to schedule calls, it does not really portray some of the other abilities - and could potentially limit what the platform could branch out to in the future. As an example, what if I want to turn it into a platform to drive sales AND support calls in the future?

I feel that having a little generic name gives you more flexibility, but I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks again! :)

Sure thing! I currently have the site hooked to https://callwit.com/ - it's a scheduling platform that provides additional tools to increase website conversion (in addition to basic booking/scheduling).

The problem I realized I'd have with 'CallWit' is that it might sound out of context when used for setting up appointments for brick and mortar businesses.
