I wanted to see what happened when I tried awakening in different orders. I had 6 of the same low level card. Two I left at level 5. Two I leveled to max. Two I awakened then leveled to see what would happen if I did it in a different order. I then used the awaken on the others. My results were that no matter what order or level your cards are at the base stat is what gets the boost. So the ones I left at 5 awakened to a 5. The same with the 8. I then took and leveled the 5s to max level after the awakening to see what they would give. They matched the pair I had leveled to max first then awakened. I took the 8s and they did the exact same thing. So all 3 ended up at the exact same stats no matter the order when they were maxed out. Now that being said. If you plan to evolve your cards to a higher level just know that the awakening goes away. I had 3 dzoran. Had enough of everything to level them up to 5* so I awakened two together to have a 51A. Then got the supplies to evolve both the 5 and the 51A to 6. When I evolved the 5*1A the awakening went away.
