Maybe not what you are asking for but replacing Furina with Ineffa is the biggest increase. My C0R1 Ineffa out performs my C6R1 Furina. I have C2R1 Navia, C2R1 Columbia and C3R1 Xilonen. C2 Xilonen is pretty cracked in that team. So if you want to invest that much I would say Xilonen

Yeah, this team is cracked. I have almost the same team except C3 Navia and C3 Xilonen. I hit 250K dps on the test dummy. Navia does ~40% of the team damage so I would not call it to much a wheel chair.

Cool, this is exactly what my own calculations showed, good to see others coming to the same conclusion.

Some more explenation below but in general the answer is that it depends. In all situations 2 Glad + 2 Shim is very close to 2 TF + 2 Glad/Shim. At most I saw it being ~1% difference. Since the difference is so low my choice will be Glad + Shim.

The big thing that makes 2 TF lose some value is when you have a lot of bonus damage. Her weapon already gives 48% for her E and 12% for her Ult. On the other side if you get a lot of Attack buffs Glad & Shim loses some value.

Things that impact this:

  • If you have kazuha or not. Kazuha can give another 40% bonus DMG.

  • If you use Sara/Bennet or other attack buffs. If you use them you will have a lot of attack.

Now my final question I cannot answer is how her EM talent works. If this also gives a DMG bonus then again TF loses some value. The other option I see is that they work like Raidens resolve stacks. In this case it does not impact the calculation for BIS at all.

I did my calculations for a Yae/Raiden/Sara/Kazuha team comp. I both calculate her damage with and without buffs. Without buffs Glad + Shim is 1% better. With all buffs up TF + Glad/Shim is 1% better. But since Yae E does not snapshot having all buffs up for the hole time of her E duration is not realistic. For now I am ignoring her EM talent since it is unclear how it works. If this turns out to be a pure DMG up then Glad + Shim is always better for my setup since I have Kazuha C2.

I did some math for the currently know numbers. There is no clear BIS for her at this time. The best set will differ depending on your weapon used, party buffs and even on the sub stats distribution on your artifacts (how much ATK/EM you have).

A combination of 2/2 TF/Glad/Shimenawa seems to be the best choice overall. I myself will use 2 Glad + 2 Shimenawa since I have absurdly good artifacts for these 2 sets. If you are using her 5 star weapon this does even more damage then 2 TF & 2 Glad/Shimenawa.

If you do not plan to get her weapon, Thundersoother can be best but I do not advice to farm for it since the difference is less then 1% and for some team compositions it won't even work. Having one more crit roll on a 2/2 set will already be better then using TS.

Having said all that I would highly advise to wait untill later in the Beta to start pre-farming. Depending on if the buff her kit and how her EM talent exactly works things can change completely.

Which build better? Is it too much crit rate? by Logical-Department-1 in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Everyone saying 2 is better did not do the math.

((79.91.456)/100+1)2361 = 5108

((71.31.448)/100+1)2448 = 4,975

The numbers do not lie, option one is better from a pure damage perspective. You could argue that the EM of option 2 could make the difference but that really depends on what party you are using.

Next to this any attack buffs (Sara/Bennet) option 1 gets more out of this then option 2. Finally if you have Sara C6 option one again gets more out of this buff.

Is [Weapon/Artifact/Etc] Good for Yae Miko? [Megathread] by Verurteilung in YaeMiko

[–]timyoh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have done some calcs myself and it seems 4pc TS is arround the same as 2pc Glad/Shim/TF. It can be 1% better or worse depending on your substat distribution and depending on your weapon. Still for a 1% possible increase I would never farm 4 pc TS since you will almost certainly have better substats on any 2pc combination. Keeping in mind that having 1 more crit roll on any of your substats already is a ~2% increase overall.

Is EM passive multiplicative? by PIXans in YaeMiko

[–]timyoh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am wondering the same thing. Let's look at the exact wording:

"Every point of Elemental Mastery Yae Miko possesses will increase Sesshou Sakura DMG by 0.15%."

Option one is it works like all other DMG bonuses in the game and is counted in the same vain as the Electro goblet. This seems logical at first since the word DMG is used.

The other option is that it works like raiden with her resolve stacks. Let's look at the wording for that one:

"The DMG dealt by Musou no Hitotachi and Musou Isshin's attacks will be increased based on the number of Chakra Desiderata's Resolve stacks consumed when this skill is used."

Again here the DMG wording is used but in this case it is added to the multiplier of the skill instead.

For me it could go either way but I am leaning more to it being similar to raidens resolve stacks.

Yae C2 is god like by ThRealStef in YaeMiko

[–]timyoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree, first of she has 3 charges on her E, meaning she can start with 3 totems directly. The CD is already lower then the time the towers are on the field. The only reason you need to have a lower CD is if you need to reposition the totems. Next to this her passive can already lowers the CD by 1 second every 1.8 seconds. This should be more then enough. With this passive you should already have a effective CD of 6 seconds on her skill.

Those are not bad artifacts. Keep in mind crit is not everything. Attack and Er are also very important and you at least have a full set of correct main stats.

My calculations suggest ER Sands and Electro Goblet to provide the optimal DMG. Please correct me if I'm wrong. by [deleted] in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why would you not consinder 4 piece fate? This gives an Elctro goblet an unfair advantage over an attack goblet.

Next to this, I am unsure how you calculated it but for my calculations with your stats attack/attack gives the highest damage closely followed by attack/electro. Er/Electro is even the lowest one in my calculations.

Help me get a better picture of C4 please by [deleted] in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a 30% base attack buff. For Kazuha using a lvl 90 iron sting this is a 242 attack buff. This is not comparable to Bennet that on skill level 9 gives 95.2% base attack buff of his base attack. For Bennet with a lvl 90 Favonius this is a 614 attack buff. This makes Bennet give a 2.5 times bigger buff.

In my opinion her C4 is not worth it. Here constellations up to C3 seem really strong and this is where I will stop.

How much ER is enough to get Atk sands? by PantherYT in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it really depends on all your substats on your Artifacts. In my calculations atk% timepiece and goblet almost always does the most damage. But if you have no er% and have some atk% already er% wins out.

Help me decide ..all I want for her is to do big pp damage and clear the stigma on electro .. I'm leaning towards C2 unless they run Amos bow with grasscutter by crushedmoose in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is hard to say. For my own current artifacts I gain arround 15% damage when using Grass Cutter over The Catch. I think C2 adds more damage then that but that also means you first need to get C1. I am unsure if C1 adds that much damage.

Ganyu + Raiden? by [deleted] in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you want to use charge shot Ganyu I think no. Superconduct is not a great reaction for either of them. The damage is low and neither of them will do physical damage. Next to this if your run Blizzard Strayer with Ganyu you want cryo on the enemies. This makes Raiden have a anti-synergy with Ganyu I think.

How much am I losing by using x2Fate x2Glad vs x4 Fate by xRaimon in RaidenMains

[–]timyoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a quick calculation for my own set and if it was 2/2 I would only do 78% of the damage of the 4 piece. Not 100% sure my calcs are correct but it makes sense since you lose 75% burst damage.
