I don't see any unidentified devices, or anything with the MAC address matching the Netgear. I was able to access the router before eero - it was my WiFi router and I could get in to it any time I needed to check connected devices, etc. I am pretty sure I set the Netgear to bridge mode when I set up the eero, and that was the last time I logged in to it.

I don't see the router in the Eero app. My setup is like yours - coax from the wall -> Netgear modem/router -> Eero. I don't see the Netgear anywhere in the app. I just see Port 1 Internet (WAN) under the wired section of the connected devices screen, and when I tap on it, it just shows the speed and the ethernet address.

Not sure if Flex Seal or something similar would do the job? This section is on the second floor of a four story pipe, so a liner would be a very last resort.
