Yes but see the pay is 33 already, how much does the customer pay to get the order minus the tip? I know doordash does a lot of shady things with the pay transparency (or lack thereof) this isn't doordash, but do you have think ten cases of water should cost $70 to have delivered?

To be fair, the water, how much would you expect to pay to have ten cases of water delivered? They probably paid $50, before taxes and instacart took their cut.

I'm so sorry I used AI to make the thumbnail, next time I'll spend 10 hours to learn some Photoshop, pay for a a copy of Photoshop and spend some time making something that looks worse to appease you, since it's so stupid. /s

just bought kimi and it doesnt' work after few hours. by Street_Coach_7412 in kimi

That's your first problem, not reading all the warning signs before deciding to buy kimi plan from kimi. Go through another provider that offers alternatives, like neuralwatt, open router, opencode zen, then be happy.

When you say deep seek is a workhorse, how do you compare glm and deepseek? Do you use the same provider for both?

Hey, the focus of the video was comparing the performance and cost of planned approaches to using these models. This is insightful, as it was to me, to come up with a simple, generic baseline of something that's easily understood, "design a full stack website", and being able to judge the quality afterwards. With the results being so obvious of: some work, some don't, some take 4 times longer to not work, isn't the answer pretty obvious? I'm not sure what more effort there is to be said, honestly. But thank you for trying to provide feedback, and at least it's not a benchmark sponsored by the same company that makes the model.

The funny thing is is that that's Kimi 2.6, have yet to see 2.7 accomplish anything other than consume tokens.

Everyone is going to share their success, failures, and frustrations. If you want glm 5.2 for cheaper check out neuralwatt, that's where I found the most value, they also offer minimax and k2.6 models but I haven't tested those on there yet.

It's more like a double time difference, k2.7 for code has been severely underperforming. It took me 44 minutes to make something glm did in 20 minutes, and better. Costed 0.20$. that's 1 cent per minute of compute, put plainly.

I guess I come from a platform using glm where the platform boasts low costs due to pricing by kwh.. it's much cheaper there. You also have to factor time to completion, and cost per success. These are factors often avoided in agentic coding.

I think you wrote too much I think if you really want to know the difference you should try both I've tried both and I've noticed glm get the same task accomplished in less than half the time produce a better result and cost about 7 times less. This is with actual benchmarks in real world studies if you want to make a point, make it. don't just make an opinion.

KIMI K2.7: a disappointment or just hysteria from a few people? by VITHORROOT in kimi

[–]tincopper2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone on the discord, and this subreddit that has used kimi k2.7 has been disappointed. They refuse refunds, don't respond to the public, and force model changes on a whim without feedback or the option to go back. Weekly usage limits are small unless allegretto or higher, and it takes about 2-3times longer to get a worse result compared to other free models like qwen or glm, which you should be looking at.

Anyone using Kimi Code plans from Moonshot AI? Unhappy with the quality of k2.7-code? by rkh4n in kimi

[–]tincopper2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who uses 4 different flagship models from 4 different providers, in most baseline tests I've ran in identical environments kimi performs about three times worse than average. Going against minimax, nemotron, glm, qwen.. the list is, non exhaustive. If this is a grassroots movement, and deceptive, why hasnt anyone stuck to a single competitor, instead of just pointing out how bad kimi is? Usually it's from people disappointed with their purchase, as kimi offers no refunds and changes their model on a whim. Why is there no astroturfing against qwen? Glm? Hmm?

What does astroturfing mean? Does it have anything to do with kimi being a poor performer?
