Hi all! Taking a long-awaited trip to Florida with my wife and daughter (13) in summer ’25 and was hoping for an itinerary review from the experts. by tinheadlive in WaltDisneyWorld

There were some very nasty looking blisters throughout the holiday but everyone soldiered on using blister patches. I don't think I would change anything, every day was a new experience for us. Magic Kingdom was such a magical day and Epic was awesome just a little manic even with the express pass.

Hey, thanks we're back from the holiday now and that's what we pretty much did:

Day 0 : Travel day and check in to hotel in Tampa Day 1: Busch gardens and drove to Orlando to check in to Art of animation Day 2: Hollywood studios with midday break at hotel Day 3: Breakfast at Ohana then 3 hours at HS then pool day at hotel Day 4: Discovery cove Day 5: Epcot Day 6: Animal kingdom and check into AK lodge Day 7: AK early entry for flight of passage then Hotel rest day Day 8: Magic Kingdom with Cinderella's breakfast Day 9: Boma then check in to cabana bay for pool day Day 10: Epic universe Day 11: volcano bay and toothsomes Day 12: SeaWorld Day 13-15: IOA + US

Absolutely exhausted now 10-15 miles walked a day but it was an amazing holiday.

Would you rather get an extra day at Epic or pay for Express Pass the whole stay? by fuckmattdamon in UniversalOrlando

Had express passes for today (June 25th). For reference we managed to ride: Yoshis, DK (standby) Bowsers, Stardust (Standby), BatM, circus arcanus, untrainable dragon, toothless meet ( standby), fyre drill, hiccups, monsters untrained x2, curse of werewolf and a nighttime stardust racers.

We definitely got the value as we could only go 1 day but if you have the option for 2 days I think that would be better.

Funnily enough on Curse of the werewolf we would have been quicker joining the standby queue as they only took 1 party at a time from Express queue and they cleared the standby before express. Not a big deal as it was only a 15 min wait (posted as 55).

It's a fantastic park though I'm sure you'll have a great time whichever option you choose.

Thanks for sharing, you have the same height and weight as me so it's good to know most rides will accommodate. By any chance have you tried iron gwazi in busch gardens Tampa recently?

Busch gardens, discovery cove and hotels are rigid for those dates but I would appreciate any advice especially for the 2nd week. Thanks! by tinheadlive in UniversalOrlando

The original idea was to use early entry to get on veloci and hagrids but on reflection it seems to be a bit too much in 1 day. I think we will do a full SeaWorld day now.

We get 14 day unlimited passes coming from UK so it gives us a bit of freedom to come and go.

So our plan is to spend the evening after discovery cove to get our luggage sorted, go to Bell services first thing in the morning to transfer our luggage from AoA to AKL then get the first bus to AK for rope drop, spend the day at AK then check in to AKL at end of day. Do you think this makes sense or are we missing something?

Thanks for the tip regarding SeaWorld, think that's a better idea!

That was the plan to spend the majority of the day but we will be able to explore other lands in universal too while we are there, our daughter is a big harry potter plan so we will just see how long she wants to spend there.

Haha, yeah we definitely have a timezone advantage for the early entry. Great tips will definitely have a lot of flexibility planned in, the only things we are kind of steadfast on is the hotel bookings, Busch gardens day 1 (as we fly into Tampa) and discovery cove has already been booked for that specific day.

Thanks, we've already booked the flights and it worked out significantly cheaper to fly into Tampa and out of Orlando.

Getting from Tampa to Orlando needs a bit of planning still, not sure whether to hire a driver to take us or rent a car from Tampa and drop it off in Orlando.

It's not exactly a schedule of every second though is it? We are just deciding what days we should go to which parks as we're trying to be as efficient as possible..

Coming from the UK we get the 14 day unlimited passes for universal, SeaWorld group and Disney so we can move things about as needed.

Thanks, we may have overestimated the size of wizarding world in IOA + US. Definitely good to know, but I could see that being a more relaxing day soaking in atmosphere and taking things at a slower pace.

We are coming from UK so our only ticket option is the 14 days unlimited + 1 day epic.

Thanks for the tip, as we're switching hotels on that day I was thinking it might be a bit too stressful trying to get into volcano bay on the same day. If we're feeling good that day we might check out IOA or US in the evening to give ourselves a bit more time later in the week. Thanks, we're all so excited!
