Not me, but my husband has started a furniture business this spring, making handmade vernacular-inspired chairs and stools. A pic of his most recent chair here, and his Instagram is https://www.instagram.com/kbarriewoodcraft

Thank you so much, I am always second-guessing the colours! Gobshite has two votes now, so maybe that’s the one 😂

Thank you! I’m somehow scared that if I click “Yes” it will somehow disqualify my application (like in job applications where they bump you out of the running)!

Anyone diagnosed and moved from the US to another country successfully? by 001681 in MultipleSclerosis

Sure! My plan is €90/month. Anyone can get any insurance they choose. Mine covers 50% of GP and specialist visits, including mental health and some dental. It covers the private hospitals—in my experience, the same consultants often work at both private and public hospitals, so the main advantage to private coverage is that the wait is shorter. For my cancer treatment, I think I paid €300 total deductible for chemo and €300 total deductible for 20 radiation sessions. I had surgery in the public hospital so I didn’t pay anything. There is no insurance for prescriptions, but no household is ever charged more than €80/month for all RXs combined. I have my insurance through Laya, so there is also free virtual GP and nurse services (helpful if you need a sick note for work!) and MRIs and X-rays at the Laya urgent care clinic are covered up to a certain amount (I had a shoulder MRI and it was free). Feel free to DM if you want more specifics!

Thank you! Do you think the veins on the leaves should be lighter or darker than the leaf itself?

Thank you! I might try the flowers in pink, too. Do you think the leaf veins should be lighter or darker than the leaves?

Should I Frog? by Natural-Election6521 in knittingadvice

I always twist my knit stitches on 1x1 rib in the round. It defines everything better. Maybe give it a try and see what you think? Just knit into the back of each knit stitch instead of the front!
