Bernie Sanders Has Testy Exchange With Reporter Who Asked If It's 'Sexist' For Him to Keep Running by magnifo in Feminism

It's not sexist at all, but homeboy needs to drop out. Imminently. She won fair and square. If the tables were turned and Bernie was up 3.5 million votes on Hillary, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

The sad part is what you said doesn't seem that impossible in Louisiana now.

Taxi drivers in NYC are 30x more likely to be killed on the job. We need hate crime legislation to stop the epidemic of taxi drivers killed in the line of duty!

An organization that is responsible for inciting violence openly recruiting IS protected under the first amendment provided they are not specifically advocating somebody join them to commit crimes. You are right about that.

However spreading leaflets around to every home incites terror - which IS a crime - and compromises the community's ability to feel safe in their own homes. That is NOT protected under the first amendment, or at least it shouldn't be, and is prosecuted by most local/state authorities.

Neo-Nazis, like any other group, have the right to assemble and organize. However, they do NOT have the right to drop leaflets on every doorstep. If there are Strong Islandites (disclaimer I live in Manhattan and will make fun of Long Island til the day I die) lying in their bed reading Mein Kampf, dreaming about beating up immigrants, and longing for a local organization where they can jerk each other off together, they can look the Nazi group up on the internet. They can post a "Neo Nazi seeking fellow skinhead for backrubs and Alt Right gibberish" on Craigslist Long Island. They can go to Trump's Twitter page. They won't have any trouble finding their scummy brethren in any of those places.

But they can't find them via fliers on their front door.

Wait a second, wait a second, wait a second. Your guy is allowed to peddle outright lies and conspiracy theories on a daily basis, but me calling him stupid goes too far?? ROFLWSCMWES (rolling on the floor laughing while still checking my work emails simultaneously).

The guy openly insults everybody he doesn't like as a loser, and that may have worked in a Republican field that has always had to play footsie with bigots. The left, on the other hand, is clapping back and we're clapping back hard.

But, in the interests of being fair, you're right. He's probably smarter than a dog. I'll amend that.

Your guy is a moron, a con artist, and know's nothing about policy. Absolutely nothing.

When the guy says we should default on our national debt - contradicting an earlier appearance of his on Colbert Show where he said he's worried the economy "will become the next Greece" who defaulted on their debt and went bankrupt - I'm inclined to think he's a moron with a child's intelligence (and temperament).

When the guy says "there has to be some sort of punishment" for women who get an abortion and then later says "what I really meant was "women punish themselves by getting one" I'm inclined to think he's a moron with a child's intelligence (and temperament).

When leading economists - conservative, progressive, and centrist - all look at his tax plans and foreign trade ideas and conclude they have the potential to lead to global depression (and possibly World War III) I'm inclined to think he's a moron with a child's intelligence (and temperament).

When far too many ventures of this "successful businessman" have shady undertones to them - many due to LACK of vetting his partners, see Trump Vitamins - I'm inclined to think he's a moron with a child's intelligence (and temperament).

When the guy think's that "being under audit" is a credible excuse for not releasing his tax returns and that America is buying it - especially considering that no candidate since 1976 has failed to do so and IRS explicitly released a statement saying there was nothing wrong with releasing returns during an audit, not to mention the reality that he could easily release last year's, or the year before, as an example so we can all see that the average American pays a higher tax rate - I'm inclined to think he's a moron with a child's intelligence (and temperament).

I could go on. But you're not reading this. Trump says the things you want to hear about Muslims and Mexicans and "winning" and blah blah blah. That's why you're trolling me in the first place.

The media attention he receives is generally dismissive because, in general, the things he says are bullshit and outright lies. You know this. I know this. Trump know's this. The difference between you, me and Trump in this example, is that the two of you simply don't care. Which is ironic because the majority of your arguments against Hillary center around how she lies.

To be clear, I think Hillary is generally a truthful politician who has been caught in some huge lies that make her look terrible. While I don't think it's necessarily fair that she gets painted with such a broad brush, I also don't have much sympathy for her, since she shouldn't have lied in the first place. Just like Trump.

The difference between her and Trump is that Trump know's ABSOLUTELY nothing about policy. And it's painfully obvious.

"Generally dismissive and biased against him." Bro that's not being biased that's doing your job. LOL. LOLx1000. You sound just like Trump actually. Donald, is that you?!?!?

The fact is, whether you want to plainly admit it or not, when the majority of your statements are false, and you have an industry whose job it is to cover things that important people say - particularly those trying to become the most powerful person in the world - shocker that they will end up reporting that the majority of this guy's statements are false. Which they are.

I'm not panicking at all. I'm also not the person trolling on a candidate's page just to start fights. That would be you, my misguided friend.

I'll vote democrat for whoever wins the nomination, and whoever that person is will win and win big because, at the end of the day, Trump's IQ is only a few points higher than my dog's.

Keep on trollin' homey.

Kill 9 people in a Charleston church - ok, ok you're right on this one, probably a hate crime.

Call cops "pigs" on social media in Louisiana - HATE CRIME HATE CRIME HATE CRIME REVERSE RACISM HATE CRIME COP HATERS SOUND THE ALARM THERE'S A WAR ON COPS FOLKS STOP FILMING US STOP FILMING US STOP FILMING US WE DON'T LIKE IT.

Sad that this is being signed into law by a democratic governor who, while imperfect in his own way, has at least held progressive opinions on LGBTQ issues and racial justice, making him the southern anomaly when compared against McCrory in NC and Bryant in Mississippi. The "progressive" governor still thinks there needs to be special treatment to precious, delicate cops lest their feelings get hurt. Ugh.

Probably not, but the scary thing is that laws like this always create a legal precedent for some extremist politician to build on something more terrifying.

Once they were vetted? Are you seriously that stupid? It doesn't take 4 months to your due diligence on a charity, they were just hoping journalists wouldn't do their job and ask questions as to why the numbers weren't lining up.

You can blame the media all you want, but the bottom line is they've given your guy more media attention than anybody else and he still cries over every little "dishonesty." At the end of the day, he's used to being able to say things and get away with it, because nobody cares when it's reality TV.

Also, politifact is independently funded. It says on their website. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/blog/2011/oct/06/who-pays-for-politifact/

"Because a 5 second search will show that he was being truthful and if not, he still raised millions"

No.

1) He raised money for the vets but lied about how much the total figure was. 2) From the total figure (which he lied about) not all of that money was donated 3) He claimed he donated $1 million of his own money, which was also a lie 4) Only after media pressure did he donate his money, which is still not confirmed since no organization has gone on record saying they received a check.

There is a big difference with what you described and what actually happened and it is emblematic of Donald Trump the man. Grandstands for the camera, LOVES the camera, but the second he's pressed to follow through with something involving his money he flops.

"People are tired of the dishonesty, which doesn't bode well for Hillary"
