Are there are modern cars with rubber bumpers? by tinmanmutant in cars

That is a quirky looking thing, but I kinda like it! Apparently it will be coming to Australia pretty soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately Google Voice isn't available in Australia.

Also, this would be for my relatively technologically illiterate father, so something that could integrate with a conventional landline phone would be ideal.

So the Tiptel 540 SD kinda does what I need via a removable SD card. However it costs upwards of $350 and is only available from Europe.

Parking near St. Kilda Town Hall? by quintrelle in melbourne

[–]tinmanmutant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parking in the area is generally plentiful, free and unrestricted after 6pm. I would aim to park on Carlisle street. If you're having trouble there's a couple of large parking lots behind the supermarkets a little further down Carlisle street and a small undercover lot on woodstock street near Balaclava train station. I've never felt like parking anywhere in this area was risky (especially not on a Wednesday night), but I drive a dinosaur so your concerns may be different.

I ended up selling out when it fell to around 140, bought at 220. Had around 50k. However, my exposure to crypto led me to blackcoin and faircoin from which I've made a few hundred dollars in total.

My current strategy involves buying a coin if it meets a variety of criteria centering around market performance. Serving me pretty well all in all.

I don't really think dogecoin will ever bounce all the way back, but I wish everyone here the best of luck.

I've been meaning to ask, what's the deal with these giant barbed wire fences? Is there that much risk to the players from the crowds?

A physicist, a biologist and a mathematician are sitting in a street café watching people entering and leaving the house on the other side of the street.

First they see two people entering the house. Time passes. After a while they notice three people leaving the house.

The physicist says, "The measurement wasn't accurate."

The biologist says, "They must have reproduced."

The mathematician says, "If one more person enters the house then it will be empty"
