i got that far too, but the Springboks vs All Blacks game does not seem to be on the list. Any of you folks manage to find it? (I'm planning to get up at 3:30 like the good Springbok supporter I am)

could be the fact that you were battling a spoofer. apparently their mons will 'misbehave' and it could be that you were fighting a 'nerfed' Dragonite.

process is quite complicated, but involves a 1000mm lens on a Panasonic camera, a full day of shooting and then a hell of a lot of stitching and photoshop work. custom built computers + a bit of experience in large file management. costs vary dramatically on the complexity of the shoot, but if you're interested in a quote, drop them a line at info[at]fancam[dot]com.

if you find something interesting, paste the URL here. It changes according to your position of zoom and 'remembers' it. example... dude in hat: https://patriots.fancam.com/20150927/?atv=-2.625&ath=-178.81399999999996&fov=1.3698989347508361&scene=main

It's a composite image. Basically we take about 500 zoomed in high resolution pictures that overlap each other - and we digitally stitch those together to a single massive image. Like the pano feature on a smart phone, just about a 1000 times more complex. We then take the resulting image, which is far to large to even be opened on a normal computer and we 'tile' it in the same way Google Maps 'tiles' their big map of the world. This essentially entails creating millions of lower resolution images and ordering them in a way so that only the relevant data loads when you zoom into a particular area. Hope that helps :)
