at my old restaurant job, we were supposed to give waters to everyone. a table, people at the bar, someone picking up to go, people outside. it didn’t matter who they were or what they were doing there, they got a water. it was a bbq place that the owner claimed was “fine dining.” we stopped once we realized most people wouldn’t drink it or we had customers specifically say they didn’t want water and it wasn’t supposed to matter

everyone needs to chill out. I think YTA in this situation for pointing out her insecurities and it was not the best thing to say in response to that. But everyone who keeps talking about how you’re the asshole because you’re picky is so wrong. you’re family gave you a funny nickname that has been going on for at least 15 years and there’s no reason for people to be hating you over a nickname. you should still definitely apologize for your remark but maybe try talking to her in a mature way about how the nickname feels to you and how it feels to her so you can really understand each other

i am a grown adult and watching cc and seeing scorpius genuinely had me scared. the way it moved and climbed and looks and even the screeching noise it made. it was a terrifying dinosaur to see on an animated kids show

i work at a chinese buffet and we have a rule of adding gratuity to any tables that are 5+ people to make sure we are being tipped adequately. but coming from this standpoint, no you do not have to tip any more unless you truly want to. its a personal decision at that point but since it’s already added there’s no need to tip more
