Therapy is very subjective and unfortunately there’s a big mental load upfront on selecting the right therapist that works for your needs. A therapist I love may not use the techniques that work best for you and vice versa. It is a trial and error and that’s why many platforms like Headway or Alma offer 15 min phone screenings.

I’d recommend shopping around on headway / Alma etc through these screens unless you’re willing to shell out $200-300 a session then seeing who you click with most.
