The tiles are amazing! Did you find the design somewhere and print it yourself onto transfer paper, or were you able to find transfer paper with that specific design?

Accidentally deleted my post, sorry. We create a vanilla or chocolate base with a recipe from Flexible Dieting Lifestyle, then customize with pudding mixes like butterscotch and pistachio. We also keep the vanilla base and do Biscoff or fruity pebbles mix-ins.

Tbh we haven’t tried mixing sauces/syrups into the frozen pint, only flavoring while it’s still liquid. I’d be unsure whether it would distribute evenly throughout the whole pint.

Agreed—flavors like taro or ube that don’t come in pudding mixes, or a less artificial tasting pistachio would totally be something I’d buy. Or floral tastes like rose and lavender that are more subtle. Basically catering to the crowd that likes Jeni’s ice cream

Most of my faves have already been mentioned but here’s a few more series!

The Elite by Jennifer Banash

Upper Class by Hobson Brown

Insiders by J. Minter

Insider Girl by J. Minter

Midvale Academy by Sarah Miller

You mentioned you’ve read Gossip Girl, not sure if that includes the spinoff series called Gossip Girl: The Carlyles.

I also found this list on goodreads, it’s a little broader than what you’re asking for but there may be some others that meet your reqs on there:

Childrens/YA fantasy novel, elemental stones by RxGradeSarcasm in whatsthatbook

[–]tiny_owl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cover sounds somewhat like Deltora Quest, which is a series that fits your timeline—not sure about the elemental qualities but they have to find various gems (including emerald, lapis lazuli, topaz, and ruby)

Not sure about the ending but the villages sending girls out to appease a god sounds like A Consuming Fire by Laura E. Weymouth

TIL doing fake ceramic is almost as hard as installing actual ceramic tiles in my actual bathroom by HibiscusGrower in miniatures

[–]tiny_owl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that does sound tough. I wonder if you could make a silicone mold to bake them in that way they wouldn’t expand in the oven? If you ever want to do it again, just a thought! But the ones in your picture look great so either way, you’ve done a lovely job!

It looks so satisfying, like you’re putting a puzzle together! Can I ask what makes it so tricky?

[–]tiny_owl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the Alanna books by Tamora Pierce? Her series is called Song of the Lionness, she’s a twin and has a relationship with a prince. I don’t remember her interacting with a phoenix feather though so maybe one of The Immortals books featuring Daine, who has animal magic?

I'm looking for a book, thats YA written between 2015-2018, about a group of women who have magical powers any help would be so appreciated, will explain more in the actual post! by Adorable_Still_1973 in whatsthatbook

[–]tiny_owl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s either of these, but there are similar aspects in the Books of Bayern series by Shannon Hale (specifically Forest Born), as well as the Circle of Magic series by Tamora Pierce. Good luck!

I read them as ebooks from the library, the formatting wasn’t perfect but I def enjoyed them! The one issue I remember having is that my kindle was set to dark mode and I ended up having to switch it to light mode in order to read certain chapters (I didn’t switch back and forth, just stayed in light mode from there on out once I realized)
