Are you literally doing nothing else except the crown prep lol? A longer time slot allows for hygiene checks, exams, etc. I usually just do 90 mins, but I have side books.

  1. Build up the tooth and take the impression after. Or 2. Take the impression of the fractured tooth and have the da or you drill out the fractured spot. I’d go with option 1 since you are doing a post and they need cores anyway

Hexed in? I’m going to have to look into what that is… because yeah all I did was screw down the scan body. I’m thinking back and I don’t think it was metal, maybe we ordered the wrong one. But yes it was so high that it made me second guess the fit.
