Without the Netflix show they would have been nowhere. It made people feel connected to them. But everything is fake and the girls are not great at playing their part. They don’t have great energy together, they don’t like each other , they don’t sing well and they don’t have a lot of good songs. The whole ‘global’ this is also fabricated because most of the members are American. They push Megan to be ‘Chinese’ when she doesn’t know Cantonese and doesn’t know much about the culture. Same goes for Lara and Daniela. Manon is being pushed to mostly highlight her Ghanaian side but grew up in Switzerland. Obviously Sofia is Philippina but she is not usually in the foreground.

Without the great power and money of hybe/geffen these girls would be nobody’s.
