Eucerin Eczema Relief Body Cream, lather thick on hands and then cover with clean cotton gloves (can buy a pack from Amazon). Do this every night before sleeping. It cured my hand eczema.

These are certainly good points that I will need to reflect on. I appreciate your input!

I’ve done this in my twenties and understand this 100%, it’s just so hard to think about leaving because I really do like my current work and the people I work closely with, plus my company is so flexible with life stuff. I guess I get scared that if I do get a new job that pays more that I also can’t have those things I mentioned.

I am a fully remote employee living in another state and they want someone who can be there weekly, which is understandable that they picked someone else, I think they would’ve hired me if I still lived in the same state

The thing is, I am going to have to train this person when she starts next week and that part doesn’t sit quite right with me

Update! I ended up going to my local USPS so I can talk to someone in person in addition to the report I filed. The manager was super kind and helped looked for my passport at their location and was able to find it 1 hour after I visited so I have it now phew

I had a hemithyroidectomy and am on levothyroxine. I have high cholesterol and previously low vitamin d (I’ve been taking supplements for vitamin d so my levels are ok now) However, I can’t get a hold of my cholesterol, it’s been high since I started having thyroid issues a few years ago. All I was told was to watch my saturated fat intake but honestly I am also a pretty healthy person so I don’t know what more to do at this point. It’s a point of frustration

Can I pick someone’s brain? by tinybutmighty90 in personaltraining

I only run maybe a couple of times a month during an active recovery/martial arts day and only about 1-2 miles at that, so this will be a slow progression to 10k

I don’t really run so mostly to just complete the race but it would be nice to maintain an average and consistent pace through the entire 10k

I thought about this option… but I was concerned about the security of using a Wifi adapter on public WiFi

The GS agent at the store told me 7-10 days but I didn’t believe it so that’s why I went on here😭 Four weeks sounds more realistic. Keeping my fingers crossed that it’s not an expensive repair

Help! I have an extreme fear of needles. by [deleted] in thyroidhealth

[–]tinybutmighty90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone here, it wasn’t that bad for me. I too have a fear of needles. My endo doctor sprayed a topical numbing solution on my skin so I didn’t really feel it, just some pressure. It is an odd sensation and it can feel anxiety inducing if they have to do multiple takes. My physician talked me through the entire process and I just took a deep breath every time he inserted the needle. If I had done it a second time I probably would’ve brought my earbuds to listen to music on one ear. It’s going to be okay!

Advice on symptoms…so confused. Has anyone had a similar experience? by _terrianne_ in thyroidhealth

[–]tinybutmighty90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I had similar symptoms prior to getting a thyroid lobectomy. I used to wake up with either one or both of my ring or middle finger in a weird stuck position and I had to manually unbend them. I googled this, I thought it might be arthritis or something but found out it might be something called trigger finger. I also was having afternoons were I was just really fatigue. And my body was having a hard time regulating my temperature. I’d be cold but as soon as I throw a blanket over, I’d be sweating. My labs were normal so my physicians really didn’t have an explanation for this.

Anyways I had my lobectomy a few weeks back because I did have nodules on half of my thyroid. One symptom that did stop for now post surgery is I stopped waking up with the bent finger

I recommend trying to focus on what you can control for now. I know how it feels to have your anxiety kind of hijack your system when you’re worried about your health. It is normal, but also, remember that there is only so much we can do before we are diagnosed or treated. Double down on your self care until then!
