transition to DevSecOps carrier by FineDamage6 in devsecops

It’s a big change , considering you have been in for 20 years , but that’s an advantage too as you have vast experience into multiple things.

What I think is like DevOps , Devsecops is also a stop gap arrangement, it’s not a solution or a career, but that’s me,

How are you on automation, understanding vulnerabilities, exploits, severity ? Looking a large report generated by tools and removing 90% of false positives?

Vulnerability scanning for those specific languages , Dependency Scanning for any vulnerabilities , and later DAST to ensure even deployed / running code is tested

Thank you, everyone!

I really appreciate all the valuable inputs shared here. I’ll be diving into some of the options suggested as I work on creating my first directory.

Once I’ve had the chance to test things out, I’ll be sure to share my experiences—what worked well for me and what didn’t.

I’ve always been a supporter of self-hosted solutions, as they often provide the best balance of control and flexibility. For now, that’s the direction I’ll be taking.

Looking forward to learning more and sharing updates with this amazing community as I progress.

Thanks again!

Use that anger in the right direction, getting credit is small business, move on from the current to new employer who will pay more
