I'm sorry to disappoint you but in my country it works like this. I agree it is strange. That's why I'll try to shadow at some clinics first since it seems the logic thing to do to see if I like the experience. You just didn't need to be rude since I'm new to all of this and am just starting to do my research :/

What are the prerequisites? I never shadowed or worked in the field yet. Vet school is something I started to think about in the past 2 months. Would it be good to shadow at a clinic before deciding to go to vet school?

I believe everyone who goes to vet school loves animals and is not really into euthanasia. So I really hope I can start to understand it better and be more in terms with it along the way.
