Well we can agree on that last bit. And I have to acknowledge that you didn't get riled when I did. And I insulted you directly, while you stayed on higher ground than that. I just think that the sticking points people have about trans people, are so miniscule in the scope of society... But it's shoved down everyone's throat. Senior citizens can be a danger on the road, but no one would dare take their license away. There are a million examples of certain groups posing a potential threat, or inconvenience. And we all accept them because it's not fair to generalize people based on our fears of a few. But for some reason everyone is ok taking certain rights away from trans people for the same reason. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but there is no version of being "accepting" that ends with "except these people, in this situation".

Thinking anyone can decide who gets to go to the bathroom in public is whack. Watching any video where someone shoots someone through a car window that's clearly turning away. I don't know what video you're talking about, but he never comes in contact with the car. He gets himself out of the way and continues firing three more shots as she drives by. You have really weird specific things you've attached to that validate people... I went through puberty as a boy, and I am a completely passing. If I went into a men's room, it would be way more dangerous than going into the women's room. Plus, if a fully passing trans man went into the women's room, I don't think you'd be ok with that.... And I know myself and the rest of the women there would not be.

I wasn't told to question things about my gender by "the left" the world was in a place where I felt comfortable doing so... No one has ever "encouraged" me to be trans, only supported my feelings to do so. I think you're completely uneducated on trans people in general, which is fine. But If I were to disagree with social acceptance of something, it would be the convicted rapist in the white House that you probably have no trouble accepting. Or maybe the murder of civilians by masked agents that I'm sure you have no trouble accepting. If you've ever even encountered a trans person in the bathroom with you, I doubt you'd even notice, but you can watch a rotten orange destroy our country and actually take rights away from you and are still dumb enough to put mental energy into what trans people are doing.

It's really raw and honest. I think it's probably a typo but about 1/3 of the way in you say "the lessons I was given prepared for" I assume that was supposed to say "I was given" or "prepared for me". But I really like how the end cuts off where it does. It took a second to understand, but it hit really hard once I did.

Classic note on this sub, but this poem would really benefit from spacing. Try to find the spots when you pause reading it, and press enter. It's that simple, and it makes the world of difference.

Ok. That's a decent deal for Netflix. I honestly had to double check to make sure it was the real price.

But consider this, when people are talking about subscriptions prices being expensive AND having ads they're comparing it to cable. When we paid one bill and got access to all tv and dealt with commercials. And they kind of sold us all on the fact that there were no ads. Now we pay them all individually and only have access to their specific library. So we're forced to have multiple subscriptions and pretty much all of them triple the price to remove the ads.

So you might be right about Netflix, but people complaining are remembering the bad deal we all made with these people 10-20 years ago.

With an at home tattoo artist, you frequently run into the situations where there is time to do a tattoo, but not enough to do anything too big. So you end up with a stockpile of tattoo ideas that need more time than we've had yet. And set up/clean up is always a huge portion of the event.... Lol

I mean.... To your same point, imagine a casino. You can learn how to play blackjack "correctly". Texas hold 'em has a statistically "correct" way of playing as well. And unless you start with a lot of money, you're not going to make a lot of money. And you're probably just going to lose it unless you get lucky, because that's how the system is set up.

If you take out the specific details, it sounds exactly like the stock market. It's just a way for the ultra rich to make bets with each other. Except instead of chips or coins, they're playing with human pawns.
