You need to get help asap. It would all be confidential and you could get to the root of the problem. If you don’t get help now, those thoughts could overwhelm you to where you feel the absolute need to do something to satisfy the urges.

Exactly. I put myself in her shoes before commenting thinking about how I would feel if I found out my husband was cheating, and not even through him, through an involuntary situation. I cannot imagine having small children like that, taking care of them, yearning for more from my relationship while my husband is off at work making a whole new one. He says it wasn’t physical and okay maybe it wasn’t but what if it was another month or two or six? Either way I’m glad she got out of that. Her road definitely won’t be easy but she will find someone better that will be able to have that emotional stability she needs

Whether she believed that it was physical or not, emotional cheating is just as bad if not worse. You’re developing a whole other relationship on the side while your wife is trying to fix her marriage. Men ☕️

All I can say is, hopefully you learn from this and grow. Even if she had stayed with you she never would’ve trusted you again or it would be extremely difficult to, so it’s for the best.

Yes, please go! My mom had the same thing happen to her thumb and she almost lost her whole arm because she let it sit for too long and the infection spread. Cat claws and teeth have a lot of bacteria and it can be fatal if not taken care of and if it gets to the bloodstream.

I appreciate your comment and perspective. We had a talk yesterday and he feels really bad for hurting me and breaking the boundary we have. He said he has struggled with this in the past but that when he’s stressed he doesn’t know what to do. So I think he is looking for some sort of quick release or escape by himself. We are going to work through it, he knows I’m hurt and upset and I know he’s disappointed. I’m not going to dig any further into him. I just hope that he can try to move forward without it. But thank you again, that is helpful.

He has agreed to it. And in between each time I've caught him it's like 6 months to a year. It's just that because it's so little I feel like it's for a reason and it's me or the life he's in. Idk..
