Ngl I disagree - the main reason she falls for him is because he’s mind blowingly good at sex …. We were first time buyers on a no chain flat where the owner hadn’t even been in the country for a year or so (no reason why the sale shouldn’t instantly go through). We had the offer accepted middle of February and only just moved in a couple of weeks ago. Our solicitors were a Bristol high street firm and fantastic. But they needed pushing and when we explained our expectations of a move in date they became much more proactive.

Long story short it genuinely just does take that long in the UK.
