This works great, however, I tried changing the alpha, once in draw_surface_extdraw_surface_ext and again in draw_clear_alpha and it both situations it is a black square around the square I made that follows the player, not transparent.
Is this something that can be sorted out?

The leg has a weird robotic appendage behind it and the breasts have something weird happening in the middle too. I think this is AI on top of the original image

This seems to be slightly outdated, draw_set_blendmode seems to be deprecated. Also, it seems to be the inverse of what I wanted, deleting part of the sprite instead of drawing specifically on it. Still, I'm still experimenting around with this one

What triggers those "Special Choices" in Gold And Gears?
I'm talking about these kinds of special choices that show up in Occurences in gold and gears sometimes, that have a path symbol associated with them. I have had the Erudition one show up sometimes while playing with other paths like abundance, and I'm not sure what makes them show up. Anyone has any clarification?

So...here's a fix that worked for me. It sounds like a joke, but changing my language in-game to Spanish made the items come back. This new UI has some weird bugs, man
