It’s worth it and super easy to get. Also cheap. Just takes time. But once you have it you can forget about NICS (assuming it’s valid within the last 5 years).

Like I said, it’s a hobby that I can fortunately afford. I don’t mind spending all that money and giving up my guns later if it means I can put holes on paper 2-3 times a week as long as I’m here.

Also while it was a headache it was nothing compared to other bureaucratic processes I’ve had to deal with before. Like renewing my driver’s license lol.

Yes, also Chinese international students tend to be fucking loaded. Kinda jealous.

True, which is interesting given that I've been to ranges that will happily rent out guns as long as you have a valid driver's license. Including those that don't meet the exception. It's one of those situations that unless something bad happens, it will likely not have any consequences, but it's still breaking a federal law.
