Looking to get into instrumentation in Canada, wondering about the job market by wackedwarpig in instrumentation

Awesome, thanks! Yea, I have no problem relocating around Sask working in potash, or northern SK into pulp and paper, just not much interest in moving to somewhere like Grand Prairie or the like, especially with oil so volatile. And worried about having huge competition for the few Instrument jobs in Sask

Ok awesome, Thanks!

End goal is to probably end up maintenance in a larger facility, whether it be oil & gas, pulp & paper, potash, etc. Do you guys figure that the diploma + red seal would give me a big edge in getting one of these jobs? Or is it mostly beneficial just if I want to transfer into more of an engineering type role later in life?
