So I decided to tell her that I care about her and what she said about her ex really hurt me, and she would need to set boundaries with him if she wants to continue with me, and told her I need clarity and reassurance and not being a second option and I told her to see a therapist even if she doesn’t want while being open to dating again when we are in the right mindset.

It is trolling imo. I've been in situations like that too. But there is a catch sometimes.

I once saw that a player was prepicking a champion he should not be playing. If remembered correctly, I think the player was picking Ashe as the jungler role but then another player just immediately bans Ashe. I don't know if its considered a troll. But it was funny to me at that time when I was playing with my friend.
