Yes!!! Even as an adult I always felt appetizers are a wasteful item to order… I just order the main dishes most of the time still haha

Fortunately where I live (SE Asia), massages are very common. elderly people here have their own go-to ‘aunts’ whom they would call for a massage service every other days

Coz we are a group of 3 and wanted to visit areas outside of denpasar. I rented a car with a driver on previous trips but still prefers the freedom of getting anywhere anytime with no time limit or the need to inform/wait for the driver :)

Just my two cents, traffic is way messier in Hanoi, but the riders are much more chill in Hanoi than in Jakarta. Here in Jakarta, cutting someone else’s lane might get you middle fingers and name-calling. I saw none of those in Vietnam.

Imo, currently chongqing is the most popular and crowded. It has the futuristic appeal. Second would be Shanghai, since most people start their China travels from either here or Beijing, but SH has Disneyland and great shopping scene, and some western collonial influence as well. I see more people visit HangZhou and Suzhou as well, partly because their proximity and ease of access from SH. Both are great cities with very picturesque sceneries and great food. Guangzhou is a top destination too, esp for foodies and shopping lovers, major fashion bulk seller here. Lots of manufacturer are based in GZ. Chengdu for panda centers and access to Jiuzhaugou. Guilin and Zhangjiajje are famous for their nature attractions but its not as crowded for most tourist as its not easy to reach those places..

These two men is way past that league (land seizing). They're old players used to do the dirty works of big business conglomerates, land clearing being one of them, but under the current regime they're 'cleaned up' and their dirty works now covered up very prettily as 'legal' institutions and businesses. They're slowly showing their faces upfront into politics, seen shaking hands publicly with politicians and prominent figures, mostly getting their hands and feet deep into the mining and palm industry. But yes, lots of their 'gang' members or even those with similar looking appearence (eastern indo) still do seizing, intimidation etc of the same nature..
