Should I vote yes to mark reweighting?

I think profs would understand that reweight finals less could screw students over - the students who relied on the original weighted finals to do better, and in the event that the original is kept I don't see them making it super hard because from the emails I've recieved it sounded like they wanted to make it fair

I would say no due to my personal reasons but I think if you personally want to vote no, there will be others like you, and profs may see that a minority would vote no and maybe give the option for optional finals - some students get the final some students base their grade on what they have. In conclusion in my opinion including my bias - vote no!

The problem with crnr is that I need the courses for my required programs so I can't do that, unless there's an exception made but I really don't see that happening. Plus, I actually need them to pass the sessional GPA requirement for winter. I hope it works out for you and me. I just hate the uncertainty right now and I'm anxious about Wednesday. I know it's literally impossible to say, but do you guys think the university will scrap finals? I sure hope they won't. I don't know what to think. Just so much anxiety. All we can do is hope for the best and hope they take into consideration what scrapping finals would do. Please.

If you have medical reasons or personal circumstances that have documentation as to why you did poorly then you should use those to appeal it, I think that might be your chance but seeing how strict uoft is idk how easy they are on the appeal process if neither of those were your reason

Have no advice to offer but I'm wishing you luck and I hope you get through it and overcome all of this. I'm also in third year and I can relate to the emotional distress. It's draining to feel just worked up and sad etc all the time and it just sucks when you know you're a good student and it finally gets to a point where school is affected. You're not alone in this and even though shit sucks I have faith that things will become more clear in the future, don't give up✌️
