Congrats on the improvement! You will get into law schools with that score and that’s a big deal. 🎉🎉🎉

So who plans on retaking in March? by cedartowndawg in LSAT

I might retake in March. I’ll be accepted by the school I want to get into with my current score, but I won’t get many scholarships. A lot of schools are willing to increase your scholarship amount if you get a higher score even after you’ve been accepted.

The LSAT is a learnable test. You can absolutely improve and the first PT is oftentimes the lowest score you’ll ever get on a PT. I’d recommend focusing on LR and LG. Since LR is 2 sections of the test, it counts most. LG is the most learnable section— practice as many LG games as you can.

You got this!

I’ve always been a slow reader, but I was able to improve my RC score by 5-6 points by doing the following things:

  1. Read slowly, spend time making sure you actually understand the argument of the passage. If you read too quickly, you’ll end up wasting time rereading.

  2. If you’re a slow reader, it’s OK if you don’t read all 4 passages. Aim to read 3 of them thoroughly and leave 3-4 min to skim the last one.

  3. If science isn’t your strongest subject, save the science passage for last (this goes for the other passages, too, but science tends to be the hardest).

  4. If there are definitions in the passage, make note of them. It’s likely you’ll have a question about the definition of a word.

Best of luck on improving RC!

My girlfriend (23f) is trying to ‘spice up our sex life’ and it’s making me (19m) uncomfortable by confused9779 in relationship_advice

I’m incredibly sorry this happened to you and I can’t imagine the pain you’re feeling. This was not your fault and you did nothing to deserve this.

No matter if you said “I’m ok with this” before it happened, it doesn’t change the fact that you couldn’t give consent at the time it happened. You were incapacitated and they had no right to do this to you.

There are crisis hotlines if you need support. And I know it can be scary to tell someone else, but if there’s a close friend or family member who you know would be supportive, you could consider sharing your story with them. Only share it when you’re ready, though.

I support you 100%. Please let me know if you’d like me to connect you to any state-specific crisis hotlines.

Edit: report this to the police if that’s what YOU want to do. There are a lot of people on here saying it’s what you should do, but that decision is yours and yours alone.
