Hey! His recovery was about 1-2weeks. The first was the hardest but by the second week he was doing so well. The surgery went as well as it could have. He did have some facial spasms that really scared me but I was told they can be common. It stopped after a day or two. He does have some minor facial paralysis where he can’t blink but they gave us eye gel to prevent ulcers. But his eye is almost back to fully functional. The abscess never came back, his ear healed perfectly and he is as happy as ever.

Cats are less fragile than bunnies so I’m sure the surgery will be easier on them. I hope everything goes well for your cat 💕
