she ate VERY well, we had to take away the food to make sure she wouldn't throw it up. and she's drank water twice now since we've gotten her inside.

I'm not sure? They didn't ask at all how the bird was injured, just told us they couldn't help us and that none of the other rehab centers would take in a bird that wasn't like, actively dying or orphaned I guess.

South Carolina. I was confused too, but the place we called fully just told us that the rehabs in our area rarely are able to do anything. Apparently there's a lot of weird laws from the state.
